	Key Sponsor of Local Charities and Organizations: • AdoptaPlatoon On September 11, 2007, we hosted a golf outing along with Computer Associates at the Long Island National Golf Course in Riverhead, NY. This was a fundraiser benefitting the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, our deployed soldiers and their family members. AdoptaPlatoon ensures that our heros receive morale-lifting mail, platoon care packages, critical supplies and equipment. Despite the weather, it was a great time had by all.


	____________________________________________________ • American Heart Association The American Heart Association is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is: "Building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke." Custom Computer has held a blood drive on site for a couple of years where employees donated their blood for a good cause.

	____________________________________________________ • American Red Cross In 2005, Hurricane Katrina devistated the people of New Orleans. The massive flooding destroyed their homes, and left thousands of people without anywhere to go. As a company, Custom Computer came together and raised money for the American Red Cross. We raised a total of $33,000. We presented the check to Steve Levy, the Suffolk County Executive.

	____________________________________________________ • Companions in Courage A fundraiser that was held for the Westchester Community Hospital. Everyone gathered together and had a poker night at the Fox Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY.

	____________________________________________________ • Dyno Romulus Custom Computer surprised Westbury High School graduating Senior, Dyno Romulus by presenting him with a brand new state-of-the-art IBM Thinkpad, HP OfficeJet Pro color printer, ink cartridges and other supplies, as well as a $1,000 check to help him when he begins classes at the New York Institute of Technology in the fall. Dyno has been an exceptional student and member of the Westbury community since he came to this country from Haiti several years ago.

	____________________________________________________ • Huntington Hospital Custom Computer has donated money to the Huntington Hospital. We take pride in helping out wherever we can.
	____________________________________________________ • Making Strides Against Breast Cancer - Susan G. Koman Foundation Every year, Custom Computer participates in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk at Jones Beach. It is a noncompetitive walk to help fight breast cancer and helps provide hope to people facing the disease. We raise money both internally from employees as well as from our families and friends. Our participation supports the American Cancer Society's lifesaving research, prevention, early detection, and support programs for thousands of patients and their families. This year, as a company, we raised over $3,300.
	____________________________________________________ • Marcum & Kliegman Workplace Challenge The Marcum & Kliegman Workplace Challenge is held every year at Jones Beach. It is a 3.5 mile run where all companies around the island get together and participate in. This past year, the beneficiaries were Children's Medical Fund of New York and the Long Island Children's Museum.
	____________________________________________________ • Marty Lyons Foundation The Marty Lyons Foundation fulfills the special wishes of children between the ages of three and seventeen years old, who have been diagnosed as having a terminal or life threatening illness by providing and arranging special wish requests. Every holiday season, Custom Computer collects both gifts and money for the foundation. We hold a Holiday Party every year for the children and their families to attend. We dress up in costumes which brings great joy to all the children. Gifts are handed out to all the children that attend.


	____________________________________________________ • Memorial Sloan - Kettering Cancer Center Custom Computer has donated money to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. We take pride in helping out wherever we can.
	____________________________________________________ • Mike Mullane - Astronaut At two school districts on Long Island, Westbury Public Schools and Roosevelt Union Free School District, we had Mike Mullane, the former astronaut, speak to the children about his experiences in space. Mike Mullane is also a well known author and speaker. He did a terrific job and was well received by both the administration and students. Both schools really appreciated Custom sponsoring this event!

	____________________________________________________ • North Shore LIJ On June 5, 2006 Custom Computer held a golf outing at the Sands Point Country Club. Proceeds from the event went to the North Shore LIJ Health System Foundation.
