About Discover the Smile Foundation
Discover the Smile Foundation is an incorporated non-profit organization
dedicated to de-institutionalizing children’s healthcare facilities
through the design, procurement and incorporation of stimulating,
innovative and diversionary artwork and interactive exhibits. The
goal of the Foundation is to create atmospheres that put smiles
on young faces to help relieve some of the emotional stress of hospital
visits for children and their families, and to positively impact
the outcome of treatment. By introducing stimulating artwork and
interactive exhibits, the hospitals we touch will become more welcoming
to young patients and their families, and better workplaces for
healthcare professionals. The end result will be superior, more
competitive hospitals for our community and easier and more cheerful
hospital experiences for our community’s children. For more
information, visit the Foundation’s website at www.discoverthesmile.org.
