E-Rate
The E-Rate program plays an exciting role in telecommunications, Internet access, network infrastructure, maintenance and other essential technology services for the K-12 education community. The program has always been tightly regulated and administered by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). More than a decade since it began, rules and procedures continue to be refined. Our specialists come from the education community and are now working at the forefront of the E-Rate process every day on behalf of school districts large and small. We've found that, regulations aside, each participating school district has its own experience planning for, applying for, and implementing E-Rate funds. We're also finding that E-Rate encourages short and long-term efficiency in how districts deploy technology in schools. In more than one way, E-Rate is a great story. In a given year, school districts across the northeast will receive well over one hundred million in E-Rate dollars to improve technology.
Any school district undertaking a technology project that relies on E-Rate funding will benefit from informed help. If you're looking at procedures and how to get a technology project going, we encourage you to take advantage of Custom's E-Rate experts. It will make your process easier. When the applications are approved and funding is secured, you'll know that you'll have a steadfast technology service provider to follow through on your project.
