Five Districts in New Jersey Select Infinite Campus for Student Data Management
Dec. 5, 2007 – Arden Hills, Minn. – Five districts in New Jersey have selected Infinite Campus as their district-wide student information system (SIS). Bergenfield, Hopewell Valley, Long Branch, Millville and West Windsor Plainsboro will be implementing Infinite Campus District Edition, a comprehensive, web-based system that eliminates islands of information, streamlines student administration, and provides secure, real-time access to data.
“We are excited to have these districts select Infinite Campus,” said Alan Lacher, Vice President of Custom Computer Specialists. “Their leadership will demonstrate the forward-thinking value of Campus. As early adopters in New Jersey, they are leaders in leveraging resources, meeting educational needs and preparing for the future.”
Bergenfield was the first to go live with Campus and Long Branch is in the final stages of conversion. The remaining districts will go live in 2008. They join the growing number of districts in 43 states who have experienced proven results with Infinite Campus.
“The Bergenfield Public School District was looking for a better way to complete New Jersey state reports and to integrate with New Jersey SMARTS,” said Dr. Michael Kuchar, Superintendent of Bergenfield Public Schools. “Campus gives the district this ability while better serving the teachers, administrators and parents with up-to-date information on student performance, attendance and individual needs. We couldn't find any other product with nearly the power Campus offers.”
First-time users in a state find that Infinite Campus provides state reporting capabilities and responds quickly to these ever-changing requirements. Across the country, first-time districts have benefited from the fully integrated functionality and centralized database.
“Our district is focused on preparing students to meet the challenges of the 21st century. We knew we needed an SIS that could provide the data necessary to properly assess student performance and take corrective action,” said Joseph Ferraina, Superintendent, Long Branch Public Schools. “After reviewing several vendors, we quickly realized Infinite Campus was the best choice."
“Our staff saw the power and benefits that Campus offers – from scheduling, to special education, health, and student demographics. Infinite Campus offers the ability to quickly and easily share information with all stakeholders involved in each student's education.”
Bergenfield, Hopewell Valley, Long Branch, Millville and West Windsor Plainsboro will be working with Custom Computer Specialists, Inc., the Infinite Campus Alliance Partner for New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
