James Thwing

Chief of Staff, Vice President of Corporate Development

James Thwing is a strategic growth and finance leader with deep expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, and investment analysis. He currently serves as Chief of Staff and Vice President of Corporate Development at CCS, where he plays a central role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and driving long-term value creation.

In this role, Thwing leads CCS’s corporate development function, overseeing the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of acquisition opportunities. He partners closely with executive leadership to align strategic initiatives with financial and operational priorities, helping to accelerate growth, expand market presence, and enhance the company’s service capabilities. His work spans M&A execution, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership across finance, operations, and go-to-market teams.

Prior to CCS, Thwing held corporate development and investment roles at Atlantic Street Capital and Atlas Technical Consultants, where he focused on evaluating and executing investments across a range of industries. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
