Emily DeMerchant is the President of ConexSys, a software division of Custom focused on development, sales and support of the HI-IQ® software application. HI-IQ is used by interventional radiology departments to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs and maximize efficiency.

When Emily first joined the workforce she found an affinity for technology and started her career as a web developer. In 2003, Emily joined the HI-IQ team as a technical support engineer on the HI-IQ help desk. It was in this position on the front-line serving customers, that she developed a talent for turning customer challenges and pain points into new and improved features.

Emily is responsible for transforming ConexSys into a leading edge provider of software as a service, helping customers meet evolving healthcare demands such as pay-for-performance, Maintenance of Certification, the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act, Joint Commission guidelines and operational performance methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. These accomplishments led to Emily’s promotions to Practice Manager, Director, Vice President and finally President of the division.

Emily studied at the University of Rhode Island and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology. She is also a graduate of the Small Business Administration’s Emerging Leaders Program.
